Woodlanders Teen Sessions
Weekly outdoor nature adventures offer teens aged 11 to 15 years the opportunity to unplug from the digital world, reconnect with nature, and grow in confidence through meaningful, real-world experiences. Each session blends guided skill-building with exploration, giving teens the space to develop practical abilities, resilience, and emotional balance, while strengthening their connection to themselves, others, and the natural world.
Each week focuses on nature-based survival skills, with activities such as shelter building, knot tying, safe fire-making, outdoor cooking, and water purification. Teens also learn wilderness first aid, basic tool-making (including crafting simple tools like spears), animal care, and garden work. These experiences encourage independence, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of ecosystems and sustainable living.
These are drop-off sessions, thoughtfully designed to support independence while providing a safe and supportive environment for teens to explore, challenge themselves, and build confidence.
The program is designed for ages 11–15, with activities adapted to suit varying levels of ability and experience, allowing each participant to grow at their own pace.
