HELLO! HOLA!مرحباً

I am Sherin, a mama of two beautiful children and the founder of Natura Tribe, The Nature Fair and The Nature Escapes.

I created Natura Tribe after seeing that my kids were preferring staying indoor over going outside and play, especially after COVID. I wanted to change that.

Just like my little one calls herself a nature protector, I see myself as a nature keeper. I founded Natura Tribe to help families disconnect to reconnect with nature. My goal is to make people fall in love with nature again.

I have always been a big fan of nature-inspired play. I grew up actively exploring the outdoors – from climbing trees to collecting shells and stones and using grass and flowers to adorn my childhood imaginary worlds. I believe nature can heal us. It is where we belong and where we grow healthier. And if we help kids be one with nature again, we can teach them to take care of it from a young age and play our part in saving planet earth.

I am a fully qualified Forest School Leader, recognized by The Forest Schools Education UK with an International Open Awards Level 3 certificate; a Therapeutic Forest School practitioner for Kids with additional needs; a qualified practitioner in woodcraft for adults’ wellbeing; Green Educator, certified by the Green School Bali; a certified kid’s yoga and mindfulness teacher; and extensively trained in outdoor first-aid.

I’m the happiest when in the open air in nature and I love Tree ID, Natural Cordage Making and Wood Carving. I am passionate about travelling and exploring new places and have been to nearly 50 countries. The experiences at Natura Tribe are inspired by each of my own adventures around the world.

In my day to day job, I head, manage, plan, design and run Natura Tribe programs and activities, I hold the vision for the Nature Escapes and I lead the Nature Fair Festivals along with other key events that take place at the park.

When I am not taking care of my kids and running the sessions at Natura Tribe, I am busy hand-crafting natural, non-toxic, and safe resources for the little ones to play with – from plant-based playdough, pretend potions, stamps, and play wands, to mud kitchen accessories and other sensory play tools.

Thank you for visiting this page to know more about my dream job. I look forward to welcoming you into my tribe.

Kind thoughts, kind words, and a kind heart always!

Namaste,

Sherin.
