I am Sherin, a mama of two beautiful children and the founder of Natura Tribe, The Nature Fair and The Nature Escapes and the designer of the True Forest School in the region in Al Fanar By Zaya.

I created Natura Tribe after noticing that my own children were choosing to stay indoors rather than play outside—especially after COVID. I knew something had to change. Just like my little one proudly calls herself a nature protector, I see myself as a nature keeper. I founded Natura Tribe to help families disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with the natural one. My mission is simple: to help people fall in love with nature again.

I am a fully qualified Forest School Leader, certified by Forest Schools Education UK with an International Open Awards Level 3. I am also a Therapeutic Forest School Practitioner supporting children with additional needs, and a trained Woodcraft Practitioner specializing in adult wellbeing. As a Green Educator certified by the Green School Bali, a certified kids’ yoga and mindfulness teacher, a licensed beekeeper, Permaculture Designer, and someone extensively trained in outdoor first aid, my approach blends deep nature connection with safety, creativity, and care.

I’m happiest in the open air—whether identifying trees, making natural cordage, or carving wood. I’m also deeply passionate about travel and have explored nearly 50 countries. Many of the experiences offered at Natura Tribe are inspired by these adventures, weaving together global nature practices with a heartfelt mission to reconnect people with the Earth.

In my day-to-day work, I lead, manage, design, and run all Natura Tribe programs and activities. I hold the core vision for Nature Escapes, and I direct the Nature Fair Festivals and other key events that take place in the park. I also designed the Forest School at Al Fanar by Zaya, where I manage the site and lead forest sessions for children of all ages. My goal across all these roles is to deepen children’s connection to the natural world and create meaningful, nature-centered experiences for families and communities.

When I’m not taking care of my kids or leading sessions at Natura Tribe, you’ll find me hand-crafting natural, non-toxic play resources for little ones—everything from plant-based playdough and pretend potions to nature stamps, play wands, mud kitchen tools, and sensory play accessories.
