What is the difference between Nature Sessions, Nature Kitchen and the Forest School Sessions ?
The main difference between these sessions are the ages and the type of activities. Nature Kitchen is intended for the little ones who can’t sit still for a long time, so the session includes child-led stress-free activities. Nature Sessions include a bit of everything, and includes one hour of structured play and one hour of free play. Forest School Sessions are child-led and include more risk play and advanced nature experiences intended for kids who are comfortable to stay without their parents.
If you don’t know which program to choose from, please reach out to us at hello@naturatribe.com with your child’s name and your phone number. You can also call us at 055 531 4079 to find out more.
What should I bring to the sessions?
We run our sessions outdoors, which means we are often accompanied by bugs and other farm animals. We recommend bringing a mosquito repellent, a change of clothes, a towel, a mat, and swimsuit, along with snacks and water bottles.
Do parents or caregivers attend free of charge?
In the six-weeks programs, parents or caregivers enter for free. For the Nature Playdate sessions, the ticket includes one parent or caregiver per child. Additional guardians can join for an extra charge of AED30.
Where is the Natura Tribe Village located?
We are located at the Natura Tribe Village inside the Nature Escapes at Al Barari. You can arrive by car or taxi. Access via RTA buses or Dubai Metro is not available. You can follow the map and park in front of Nature Escapes.
What can be done after or before the session?
The sessions start and end at specific times. If you arrive early, you are welcome to explore the Village. You can also head down to The Farm Restaurant, located right outside Nature Escapes. If you wish, you can also find a free spot to enjoy nature in the park.
Are there any restaurants inside the area?
No restaurant is available inside the Natura Tribe Village. However, The Farm Restaurant is located just five minutes away.
Can we enter the park on our own and access the Natura Tribe Village?
The Natura Tribe Village is a private space and can’t be accessed without a booking. However, you can still enter the Nature Escape with an entry fee of AED 30 per person.
What safety and security protocols are in place?
The health and safety of children is our top priority. We are committed to providing a secure environment, and we take this responsibility very seriously.
We are fully certified in providing outdoor first-aid in case of any instances, and have conducted thorough risk-assessments throughout the venue. Parents and caregivers are welcome to join all sessions to personally oversee their children’s activities.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Please note that payment for the sessions is non-refundable under any circumstance.
We understand that plans can always change. If you are unable to join, you are welcome to gift your ticket or package to another family or friend.
In case of an illness or travel commitment, a 48 hours’ notice is required. This allows us to offer you one make-up session, but is only applicable for our six-weeks programs.
For more information, please reach out to us at hello@naturatribe.com or call us at 055 531 4079.
What are the venue rules?
The Natura Tribe Village is a place to enjoy nature. We should protect it as we would our home, and remember that we share it with other living creatures such as tress, insects, and other animals.
Therefore, please do not:
· Pull flowers
· Step on plants
· Break branches
· Throw away our tools and resources (they are treasures that have been painstakingly collected from different parts of the world and are very hard to replace)
· Pick flowers from the river
· Disturb nature, insects, or birds in their natural habitats
· Waste drinking water
I ask all families to be mindful of our presence amongst nature, and don’t take the places for granted. Even if we pay entrance fees, it doesn’t give us the freedom to destroy it.
